The Course Coordinates

The coordinate system of Tuxracer is OpenGL-orientated. All this is well-known by developers, but for course creators and users it might be helpful to know something about the coordinates, too. The picture should be meaningful enough, so I needn't comment it elaborately:

Course creators deal with the coordinates
- for positioning objects an the course,
- for adjusting the light position.
Users might want to change the course params like play_length or width. Another parameter is not shown in the picture: course_angle. This angle defines the slope of the course and hence the common speed.
